Ok...Took off the rear cover to change fluid and count teeth. 37 ring 9 pinion. Took off front and got 45 ring 11 pinion, which comes out to 4.09. Sound right? Should be I thought, cause 4.11~4.09 is pretty damn close. Must be alright, cause it works, just thought I'd run by you guys.

Also, I ad a question about the numbers cast into the housing. I know it's a sppicer/dana 44 axle, but I always thought that on 44s the only thing cast into the lower right side, just under the axle tube where it joins the housing, was a 44. Mine says 44 5-GF (pretty sure it's F. Positive about the G though)

Can anyone tell me what this means?

Well that's cool. I guess. I always thought that the 3/4 tons were 8 lug. Perhaps a PO changed those out as well. I'm guessing that it's not stock.
