I want to run 37/13.00-15LT Boggers on my Chevy with 8" springs and 1" ORD body lift.

What gears? 4.56? I'm in the market for axles. Possibile upgrade later on to 38"-40" tires.

Thanks.

I have 4.56's and 37's and on the highway its way too deep. I don't go over 70 because I don't like the motor revving more than 3000 RPM.

If you plan on going to bigger tires, 4.56 may be the right choice. With no overdrive, I think 4.56's are a good match for a tire in the 40" range.

If you plan to stay at 37's I would recommend 4.10's.

I forgot to mention, I have a SM465, so no Overdrive.

Truck is for wheeling, see's almost no highway use.

I have the smae set-up you are looking for.

SM465
4.56 gears
39'5" IROKS

For street/off road use it is fine, but if it was offroad only I would look at taller gears.

With my 465 and 38.5's I do ok, but if it were for offroad only I would go 513's, more off than on I would go 488's.
