needing a little help with this one?

ive got 38's and a sm465 and i was needing a little help on gears , if i run 4.10's with an arb i can only run 4.10's and below meaning i would have to change the carrier , but with 4.56 i can just keep going up in gears , would like to hear some input if yall dont mind?

4.10 to 4.56 is about a 10% difference so if you can put up with it I would go with 4.56s, what axles? Do you plan to go bigger tires with the current axles?

4.56s, an sm 465, and 38s would seem like an ideal combo.

go 4.88's you will want bigger tires in the future anyway.

14 bolt ff and a d60 if i can find one cheap enough and around me , and yea do plan on goin bigger later

BTW you can find thick gears for 4.10 and down carriers. 5.38s for a 14b only come in the thick gears.

I'd almost say go 4.88's. I'm gonna be running 350/465/203/205/60/14bff with 4.56's and 37's (once my parts pile and my K5 become one entity!) but, I kinda wish I'd bought 4.88's 'cause I'd like to go with bigger tires later!
