genaral 52'' or 56'' or 63'' shackle Q ???

I have been researching 52s for couple of years and I am now finally in the middle of the project. (front spring swap ) And my Question is what bolts are you guys re-bolting your shackles on with ? are you drilling them all out for 1/2'' bolts ( grade 8 of course) or is that an overkill ?? I know I know another damn front spring QQQQ SORRY

on mine i did 7/16 grade 8. should be stronger than the rivets
