General Coolant question

Forgive me for this newbie question but I need to know if this is true: under normal circumstances, if you need to add antifreeze to your rad, can you just drain a bit and add more? will it mix properly when you run the engine? or do you have to make a new mixture and completely drain the old mixture out?

If the temp rating is correct, just mix it 50/50, which -34 is a 50/50 mix. If the rating is higher than you can put pure in within a given amount. Yes it will mix while running. Unless your coolant is old, or just nasty, leave it in there.
