1959 Chevy Apache long bed Fleetside with some modern stuff inside. Built for long trips
Project stalled for awhile. Transferred to a new job. Hoping to get back into the apache project.
I bought a new pair of doors as a Birthday present to myself.
And then my brother finished up the "distributor" project. Plug wires will run through this and into the inside of the cab where the LS ignition coils will be mounted. I put a tri 5 chevy ignition coil on the firewall to help complete the look. I'll have wires running to it later

Yeah the plan right now is Holley Terminator X Max, the Stealth version.
I talked to a Holley rep a few weeks ago and he said they have plans to release an LS specific version this year. Hopefully soon. I got that Holley tab open on my phone and I refresh it every day, lol

Being a dealer I get an e-mail for every new product they launch, I'll let you know if I see it. They launch a lot of new products! I've thought about starting a thread just for "related" new products to our trucks or similar.
Worst case if you get tired of waiting I could "make" you an LS stealth kit. But I would have to buy a separate sub-harness and combine them.

You won't need that fancy coil and cover any more.
I'd be careful putting the LS coils under the dash, the high voltage plug wires need to be isolated from all the low voltage (5V and 12V) stuff.

My brother and I did some measuring. I think I'm actually going to mount my coils under the seat. It worked out that they would be pretty much the same length whether they were under the seat or under the dash.
I mocked up the factory under dash heater to see where I could hide the coils. They could fit under the dash, but it's gonna be way easier under the seat. The 88-98 Chevy bench I have in there now, leaves a lot of room underneath so I could access the coils when needed, without having to remove the seat

A good day today. My Holley Terminator X Max Stealth showed up. So I had to open it up and mock it up on the engine. Thanks @folkenheath
Looks nice! They did a good job with those stealth throttle bodies. They hide 2 or 4 injectors per fuel bowl, and then on one end they hide the MAP and IAT, and the other end they hide the IAC. And they are high pressure (58 psi) injectors. Pretty trick for still looking like a carb.

Back to working on this. I've gotten a few things done during my vacation days this week.
All the fuel lines are now finished and clamped down. I still need to decide how I'll vent the fuel tank. Other than that, the fuel system is basically done.
The trans cooler lines are also finished and clamped down. I used the same black and green AN fittings/lines from Hot Rod Fuel Hose for that too.
I bent up a line for the coolant overflow bottle awhile back. This week I made some mounting brackets for it and finished that up.
I also mounted the ignition coils and made plug wires. They still need to be tied up and secured.
Also, the master cylinder was starting to rust, so I took that off and repainted it
Lastly, I got to work on the throttle setup. This throttle body is Drive by Cable so I removed the Drive By Wire throttle pedal that I previously installed and replaced that with a pedal assembly from a squarebody Chevy. I'm going to bend the arm a little bit to move the pedal pad away from the brake pedal pad (no pic of this)

How did you split the wires in your mock distributor cap? Or do they just travel through it to the coils and you put the ends on the plug wires? (MSD sells universal sets with only one end on).

The wires pass through the cap. There's a hole in the back of the distributor base that the wires exit. I just got a big roll of wire and crimped both ends onLooks great! I've never seen a coil mounted just for looks! ha ha
