First thing this morning I swapped the knock sensor to a new Standard KS3 for a 1995 C1500 5.0L/ Automatic.
Took a good coolant bath doing that.
Swapped oil filters. I had put a cheap one on there to catch the chunks after the intake swap and I've got several hundred miles on it so I put on a fresh NAPA Gold.
After test driving, my BLMs were high so I changed the injector flow to 61lb (Stock 350 injector) and my BLMs are 120-130 now.
I was getting TONs of knock and figured out that changing my spark bias to 0 just added 9.8deg to the entire timing table. I pulled that out and it's much closer to the original LO3 table now.
I get over 200 knock counts on every start so I'm not sure what is going on there yet.
Next the TCC wasn't functioning. I changed several parameters and couldn't get it to function. Searching, I found a thread here that said it could be pinned wrong. Fast355's original thread says the TCC should be on E10 but
this thread said it should be E11. I swapped the wire in the connector and the TCC now functions. I've got to fine tune it. Being originally set for a pickup with most likely 3.42 or 3.73 gears and now being in a F body with 2.73 it's a little wonky occasionally.
I'm taking the wife to town tonight for a date night in it to put it through it's paces. The kids may have to come rescue us with a trailer since this was an ECM laying on the dash of a wrecked truck in the junk yard only a few months ago. LOL.
