Time FLIES when the holidays are here--Finally got my 205 back togather after a HUGE ordeal with it being a bastad child 205. well aparently 1 tons with 205's and auto hubs use this weird 205 that has some type of syncro for the front output and almost everything had to be swaped out--luckly for me, my friend (who also helped me put it togather) had spare 205 parts sitting around. Had to change all the front output gears, the shaft, front output cover and the bearing housing for the rear output. If i was to rebuild this myself I would have been completly LOST.

Also got new shoes, and a RuffstuffSpecialties Front Diff cover to match the back.

Old shoes 38.5x14.5x15 SX's on 15x11 beadlocked steelie

New shoes 39.5x13.5x17 IROK's on H2's (beadlocks comming soon, haven't decided on Stauns or Weld on's) I love the new stance it has. The 39's are perfect for my truck because I want to keep it low, and inorder to comfortable fit 42's would be a hassle i don't want to encounter right now.

Looks good Dan. Any fitment issues with the H2 wheels. Also not to highjack your thread but any word on those axles. You can e-mail me [email protected] Highjack off

Dan

PS did you sell your old wheels and tires?

What you have just described from your 205 is the "shift on the fly" option.
It will sell for around $100 on ebay, or maybe one of the members will take it off your hands.

Thats good to know--all i have is the gears, shaft, "syncro collar", cover plate and shift forks. I don't know ov anyone that needs is so it will probably just sit.:dunno:

Other than opening up the hub hole just a little bit with a die grinder nothing. It brings the tire inside the fenders which is what I want. and on the axles I E-Mailed ya.:doah: Sorry bout that.
what happened to the old rims???

Old rims went to "Hispanic Panic" my friend omar that bought a beater that can finally wheel with me and the 38's are goin on the scout that you see in some of my pics from before. Its gonna get 3/4 ton chevy's and the tires--pics to follow.

is that all suspension lift? how much?

Its Ford 57's in the rear with custom mounts moved 1.5" inward and 2" up and the front is 56"s w/ factory rear shackle location, ~5.5 shackle and new fron mounts. long side of the spring rearward.

just a sugestion, if you decide to go ring type bead locks look into a company called Beadlock Specialties. they have some of the best I have researched on.

I have OMF scalloped locks, the outer lock ring is 3/8 thick like everyboby else uses. BS uses 5/8 thick lock ring. I like how heavy duty there's is. they dont dish near as much when you torque them and the bolt heads resess fully in a 5/8 thick ring.

BS sent me some close up pics of there stuff, the welds, machining pics, they do quality work. I did not know of them when I got my OMF's. I need/want another set of bead lock wheels for another rig, Beadlock Specialties is what Im getting.

You should come down for the Chile challenge, and if not then a little after that is perfect weather to wheel. Ive got a good friend that just moved up to lubbock--he drives a real clean red and line x'd 84 yota on h1's and IROKS or black steelies and At's. I know he was looking for a tow trig:deal:

Im about 99% sure Ill be at the chille challenge. Have you signed up for your trails yet. Let me know and Ill try and throw those in with my sheet.

I will be at CC with a group of three to five other rigs. We are planning on running easy on thurs. (Broad Canyon or Cayenne Crawler) Friday we are shooting for Tabasco Twister or the new Green Canyon. Saturday it looks like Rocotillo Rapids. I will be in the big rusty jimmy running with a Fullsize Cherokee, EB, and Toyota. Wouldn't mind going outlaw on a couple runs to wheel with fellow CK5ers.;)
