Not really into the slammed look, but truck wasnt build to be jacked up. (all pics ive seen are goofy looking) Race truck? IDk possibly, it is 4wd and still need it to go through winter

i wanted to lift it

so your ideas would be grea to hear... Right now the torsion bars are cranked all the way and only got less then 2" out of it. but cv shaft angles are about at max.

So idk, I have a light bar for the front (that could go on it)- it has a tailgate net on the back..

I guess right now its a mall crawler type rig, hasnt really been offroad too much, Its my DD so maybe im afraid itll break?

Mall crawler? Untill you've given it a retarded ifs lift, tossed blocks in the rear... It's a 1/2 ton truck, your dd at that. Why would you want to do anything to it?

I'd put the bars back down, put a nice stereo in and stop touching it.

The rims are factory and the rotors are larger in the front making it hard to put smaller rims on. It has an aftermarket stereo in it already and i have Polk speakers to go in it aswell. I was thinking about lowering it back down..

No crazy chrome lifts going in it here..

The truck is nuts fast and acceleration is scary..i thought about doing some minor motor/trans upgrades, so my passengers would **** there pants.

I was thinking of a programmer to unlock the speed restriction. And get moe power. It already has a k&n from factory.. 3.42 gears, no overdrive 2000-2100 rpm at 68-70mph.. 100mph is a touch under 3000rpm. (I mean ive never been over the speed limit  ) ... gov-lok rear (3rd rear end from me)..

I did a u-bolt flip to it in the rear (not a spring under to spring over flip).

A direction to send it in,

people lift them

people lower them

people race them

people pull with them

this truck just doesnt seem complete, like its missing an identity..its an oddball one year made truck (the model "SSC" not silverado)

Just doesnt seem to fit into any category:

Definitely Not a tow/ pulling vehicle (soft rear springs),

Not a mud truck, has shiny rims and came lowered from the factory

Race truck?? not really its fast as hell, but its extended cab, 4wd and not really quite in the drag category

lowered/ bagged?? not really into that, and useless in the winter and again its 4wd...

so its kinda lost

Well f*ckit, build your dd to make your passengers s*it their pants. Makes perfect sense:screwy:

a factory dropped Z71...? that's soooo wrong....

If it were mine, I'd ditch the decals, flame it, and turn it into a Hillbilly Korvette...:waytogo:

I mean to scare the begeezus out of them with acceleration and speed, not just so i can have them ruin my interior with muddy pants lol

and sanity has never been a strong suit of mine

Yeah its F'd up..

Its there idea of a cloned SS and only ran 1 year.... Most parts are dealer only..
in 2005 they switched the truck to rear drum; put the fuel pump and filter in the tank; bigger front rotors; Automatic air bags with seat sensors (no key switch); different door speaker setup; no steering stabilizer and a plethora of different other changes..

describe this "Hillbilly Korvette" you speak of?

A badazz slammed pickup truck...

trucks handle like they're on rails when lowered...throw in a silly amount of horsepower...viola! Hillbilly Korvette!:thumb:

that sounds like a good idea (maybe not slammed so much but a bit lower-- still needs to go through winter)

when i got the truck it had like negative 2 degree camber on each side (top of tire tilted in)

1. lose the nerfs
2. undo the tortion bars
3. new rims and maybe tires
4. strip the door bumpers trimmy things off (i really hate those things)
5. stereo
6. general de-blinging de-chroming
7. tint
8. BRAND NEW CK5 STICKER

other than that its yours enjoy it.

So your telling me to murder it out a bit? and put a ck5 sticker on there?

nerfs are already gone off the truck

where would the sticker go?

black chrome from duplicolor?

how do you remove the trim?

To me the fact that it doesnt have a set "purpose" because of all of the things you mentioned, in my mind makes it the perfect subject to leave it and DD it!! Why put money and time into something with no extra purpose? Drive it and put money into your fun rigs

this truck is all I have, no fun rigs for me...and most **** is outta control with pricing for rigs around here, including quads (would be nice), trail rig, motorcycle etc
