Hey guys,
My 91 Jimmy needs an axle swap. The truck had an 8 lug swap done, but the guy didn't change the front axle, he just changed the outers out. It has 3.73's in the front and 4.10's out back. I had a 10 bolt front with 4.10's from an 88 Suburban k20 that's been sitting in my yard with no outers. I'm in the process of cleaning it up and then gonna paint it and swap my outers from the truck onto this axle before I swap it in. The PO put new bearings u joints and new warn hubs in less than a year ago. It also has the Dana 44 flat top knuckle (I have crossover steering). I plan to take her camping next weekend so I'm looking to get everything knocked out this weekend and next week. What parts should I replace while I'm in there? This truck is purely an Offroad toy and weekend cruiser. Would love to hear your recommendations! Thanks guys!
