For sale I have a 4l80e automatic transmission. I pulled it from a 2002 4x4 Suburban that was wrecked with about 20,000 miles. It is missing the computer and the speedo sensors, but is in running condition. I've had it stored for about 3 years, never installed or ran. Comes with stock torque converter.

Asking $200 for my CK5r's.

Im in SoCal!

Where was it stored? Inside or Out?

If you can get it shipped to me for $100 or less I will take it. If you are willing to ship. I can pick it up at a terminal or commercial address.

Shipped to Helena MT 59602.

It was out, wrapped in shipping plastic. Outside is as good as in out here, we get 3" of rain a year, I'm in the Yuha Desert. I can look around for shipping info.

OK.. Let me know on the shipping. I will do some checking here also. I need this soon.

So far I haven't found anything that isn't going to double your price, and for $400 you can get one that is almost new locally.

Can you buy the necessary electrical stuff to make it work?

Absolutely. Several companies make the controllers for them, most are fully customizable. They run anywhere from $600 to $1200.

Several members here have done the swap with fantastic results.

Or you can pull the computer from a vehicle that ran a 4l80e.

My original plan was to put this behind a ZZ502/502 out of my brothers Camaro that he wrecked. But he sold it and I have since moved, and my family has gotten bigger...

4L80E was my original plan with a doubler, but things never work out the way you want them to.

bump for a good deal

Where are you located in So Cal, I'm interested? Has anyone done a doubler setup you know of? I have not been following the 4L80e so much but I dig the idea of a doubler behind a stout OD trans like the 4L80e.

You can pick up a 16147060 PCM for reasonably cheap and use that to controll the 4L80e. This is the PCM out of the 1991 and newer 3/4 ton Subs and HD trucks. You can use the PCM to just controll the trans or convert your entire truck to run on it.

I'm still waiting for a reply of where I can come see it and possible buy it.
