A long story short...I have a truck with a 73 vin, and that about the only thing from 73. My cab is from the mid 80's maby 83 or 85. I need a scan of the service manual fuse panel diagram listing fuse location and function. Could any one provide a link or a scan from a service manual?

Thanks
Matt

Which type fuse panel is it? Very easy to discern at least the major year differences.

Pre-'80 or so (you 70's folks can correct me) you will have glass fuses.

1980-ish up to about 1983-1984, you will have blade fuses, BUT there will be very few accessory terminals, and they will be scattered about the fuse panel haphazardly. These will be caivities in the face of the panel, probably labeled, with what looks like half of the normal fuse slots. You'll see the metal in it, but only one terminal.

1984 or '85-ish, they changed to fuse panels with all the accessory terminals along the top row. The terminals themselves look the same, but they are along the top.

All will be labeled differently, but the three listed above are the main differences, and will help you narrow your vintage down, and let people know which diagram you need. A 1987-91 panel diagram won't work either due to the EFI fuses.

here is a pic of my fuse panel...any idea what year?

Ok, i've narrowed it down to 81 - 85 cause of the blade style fuses, and my 86 factory wiring book only shows 1 flasher unit in the fuse panel
