Headed out the door in about 30 minutes to hit up some of the semi-local fishing holes.
I have caught LMB there before but have not been in a few months.
Hopefully I have a better day than recently. I have been out every day for the last few weeks, and have been skunked a few times. I did get a nice LMB the other day, and the wife also landed one, hers had a mouth full of leaves.....I guess it was either really hungry or pissed off at the lure.

If we catch anything I'll have pics up later. Wish us luck.

did i see your truck in gulfport about a month ago on pass road?

i've been trying to find some freshwater spots, i think i might head up to hattiesburg this weekend, there is supposed to be a scout camp with a lake up there

Probably was me. I work sometimes at Tiny's Monograms on Pass Rd. It is right near the Hungry Howies.

If you ever see my truck there stop in.

I can send you some GPS to a few good places for Large Mouth Bass if you would like.

yep that's were i saw your truck parked.
i'll take the spots, i do large mouth and crappie (sacalait). i've been trying to figure out where to go in the bay of biloxi for redfish but haven't found any good spots yet. everyone tells me to go to goat island but the lower unit in my boat needs to be replaced, hopefully by spring i'll have it done. atleast the trolling motor works

so wait, are you the guy that everyone tells me to go to at tiny's that used to be a chief and you'll put patches on a uniform in like 20 minutes?

No that is ETC Jonathan Buchanan, USN, RET. He is the business owner, and I can't sew for a damn.:haha::haha:

I am his graphics guy for the screenprinting part of his business.

Jonathan is good people though, and he will take care of you if you go there.
Don't be a dumb ass and always get your uniform done at the last minute though. Those Sailors are a PITA:D
I know he has a few hundred uniforms to get done before Friday.

i get my stuff on my uniform when i make rank, but we never wear the blues or the whites. i take the E4 exam in march and i already have a set of cuu's with 3rd class patches

Here are a few good ones for Bass and Crappie.

POW Lake: Big lake, I think it is around 10 acres of water.
30°38'19.49"N
89° 0'18.81"W

Airey Lake: Lots of lilly pads and hydrilla.
30°41'22.96"N
89° 3'35.03"W

Pond directly behind my house: The whole thing is fishable.
30°27'6.35"N
88°42'52.24"W

Pond just south of me: LAT/LON is in the best place to stand while fishing.
30°26'28.85"N
88°42'36.69"W

I have quite a few more marked, but this should get you started. If you ever want to fish behind my house let me know. I am out there most every day after work.
The one just south of me has some of the biggest bass I have seen down here.

how big are they? i'm from louisiana and the biggest i caught was 11 lbs and my buddy caught a 9 pounder, but the most common were between 2 and 5 lbs

The biggest I have caught so far was just under 7Lbs. Most of them in my pond are 1-3 but the pond is still young.
The bass in the other one near me are bigger and they are even bigger over near you in Saucier.
