Start by taking the add-a-leaf out of the rear springs. Then you can deside what you want to do w/ the front. You could either try and remove a leaf (which will make them alot softer than they are now), try and trade someone for some 4" leaves, or just by new leaves (around $200).
Taking out the add-a-leaf would not take too much time. I would start there. You could do it in just a few hours and see what you think. Then decide what you want to do w/ the front.
To do the rear:
put truck on jackstands (you need to have some tall enough to reach the frame)
Remove the u-bolts and rear axle
Remove the center pin and add-a-leaf
Put in a new center pin and bolt the rest of the stuff back up.
The front is the same except that you also have to undo the spring eye bolts. They should come off easy because your truck is fairly new (at least it is compaired to mine) and they were removed when the lift springs were put in.
Fyi, check the thread length on your u bolts before you remove the add-a-leaf to see if you have enough threads to tighten down the mount. I remember way back when I had a leaf added to a 3/4 ton Suburban, that I had to go to a longer u bolt. Could be a 3/4 ton thing.
