me and my friend are going today to look at a '71 K5 i was just wondering what we should be looking at, like signs of wear and stuff, maybe the type of engine or suspension or whatever just some good tips if yall can help me out. thanks fellas.

look for cracks inthe frame around the steering gear box, spring bushing cracks/wear, sagging springs, motor and tranny mounts, door hinges look under the dash at the wiring no octopusses
just got back, the thing looked awesome, already jacked up with a 4" suspension lift and a 3" body lift, it's sitting on 35's it all looks to be in pretty good condition a little body rust but that is to be expected on an older truck, my friend's gonna buy it. he's gonna join the K5 nation.

he has already joined with an 89 k5 but he is like me. we work in a parts house surronded by all the stuff to make it bad ass but we don't make enough money to purchase the stuff.
