39.5 IROKS, should I go 10oz of BB's or 7 golf balls?

air soft are the way to go. Better distribution. I put them in my DD and they work great.

I bought airsoft pellets on ebay, yet to put them in because I have stupid rubber valve stems and my tires need to be broken down, pop the bead and slap em in. Damn valve stems.

It is called dynamic balancing. Use place weight inside the tire that will distribute itself where needed to balance the tire and wheel assembly. It also never needs to be changed because it redistributes everytime the tire stops and starts rolling again. If you do rocks or woods when you wheel it can pull weights off of the wheel and then you are unbalanced. It also will counteract any lost lugs if that ever happens. By that I mean if you loose a lug of tread from the tire it will still balance.

I could see doing golf balls in larger tires. 12 oz of pellets is alot
