I will eventually get some nicer doors: my two are shot. One has some rusty decks screws keeping it together and the other has some amazing perforation/oxidation/fecal matter concerns.

I have a few different whole doors I can do to swap in and play with, power or no. After the nightmare of my tailgate, I have no interest in a door skin.

Anyway...what should I keep off the old ones? Anything of value? It's a silverado K with full power doors, and everything worked before I took the doors off. The doors are in my way and I'll scrap them after I part them.

Thoughts, anyone?

Keep the vent window assembly's, they are expensive to replace and if the rubber is in good shape I might even make you an offer.

The only one that's good is the passenger side. The driver's side has two deck screws buried in the metal to solve some sort of previous stupidity. This destroyed the door's integrity and makes mirrors shatter (ask me how I know) when you close the door and the vent window doesn't seal. If you need that one, I can take some pics and you can decide.

window motors are fairly cheap, but maybe regulator assembly? I don't know how much they cost. Also the window and lock switches. They're not big dollar items, but they're pricey for what they are IIRC. In fact, if yours are in decent shape (work well, feaux-chrome in good shape, etc) let me know what you want for em.

I will start some dis-assembly this week coming up and offer everything up. Everything worked fine when I took the doors off. Of course, it's dirty in there, but I'll do pics, too. Ever'body will know what they be gettin'.
