Is there such a thing as a tire thats good for everything, beside an AT? you know decent on the road, good wear, good in Mud, Sand, maybe snow?

I am asking cause I just though of this, when I go up north there is Sand and Mud. and In a couple of years I might be Moving out West, and it would be pretty pointless to build the truck just for around here and end up moving

I work in the Oil field (ruff roads all kinds of weather) and almost every truck uses BFGs ATs.

Mine is a dd and Im running 35 pro comps extreme mts. They seem to be holding up well on the road, work good off and dont have a lot of road noise. I'd buy them again.

What about the knock off of mud terrians, like Mud Kings Or something like that

Those are made by BFG , and I believe have stud holes for winter . I got about 3 years and 20+k miles out of the AT from that brand ( which worked in sand and mud BTW ) which was like a siped closely tight spaced MT type lug arrangement .

A friend of mine ran parnelli dirt grips (37x12.50x16) for about 18 months seamed to be a great all around tire. His truck is a superduty with the powerstroke, so it isnt a light truck. I would guess he got about 30-35k miles out of them. Did awesome off road in mud sand and snow. If he would have rotated them more often I think he would have got more miles out of them.

I have been very pleased with my MTR's. I run 35's on my DD & it sees some mud, rough roads, mild trails, hunting, but mostly aspalt. I hear they are good in rocks too, but I can't vouch for that.

x2 i really like my MTR's, theyre good to me. In my opinion, they seem better than my bfg MTs.

I've been contemplating trying the new Big O X/T, had a fairly aggressive tread pattern but siping and fairly close tread pattern which should help the wet/snowy conditions and keep the road noise lower than a m/t.
They also come standard with a road hazard & treadwear warranty.

What size?

Interco TrXus MTs. Can`t beat em. Pretty cheap too, depending on size...

I run Dick Cepek Fun Country II Radials and for everything but mud I am happy with them. They are about as close to an MT you can get without sacrificing everything else.

Honestly, the next set of DD tires I buy will be the Dick Cepek Mud Country Radials. Peterson's did a test on those not too long ago, and they did great in mud, but still felt like an AT on the road. I like that every lug is siped and personally like that they dont look like every other MT.

For my regular family hauling on the SUV, I run Bridgestone Desert Duelers. They last a fair amount of time and are all around good for asphalt and offroad. But, they are not very aggressive. I believe some Costco's sell them too. I used to run nothing but BFG's. I had a set of BFG AT's on the Bronco for daily driving and swapped in a set of MT's for offroad. The AT's wore poorly and handling was just OK. The MT's were great back when they led the pack for MT style tires. They were passed up long ago. This is why BFG probably came out with the KM, just keeping up with technology. For the Blazer, MTR's. I had a set on my Bronco that replaced the BGF's that lasted quite a while and performed great. I now have a set on my Blazer and I really like them. You can hear them though.

I like the look of that tire how do they do on the road, for noise and wear?

and this is the tire right? (I post wrong tires all the time lol)

Yep, thats the tire. I`ve put about 2k on them, and they still look new. They are SUPER quiet, and ride real smooth, and they aren`t even balanced.
