Good boneyard in denver area/looking for a 5.3L

So the bottom end of my tbi motor decided to give out on Saturday while trying to snow bash, never even put it into 4wd! Anyways I'm looking for a complete 2000-2002 5.3l. I haven't lived down here in the Denver area long enough to get to know any of the yards so if anyone knows of a good yard or has one for sale please let me know. Thanks

upullandpay has a few yards up there. I've had decent luck at the Aurora one. Plus there used to be few other yards over in that same area. So if they don't have anything you could just run down the road and hit the others.

Yep. Check with Geoff, poorboyk5. He does this stuff for a living. Some day I will hit him up for one. But I'm still breaking parts with my 5.7, so I am good for now.

Thanks guys I just messaged him and replied to the thread. I was going back and forth about staying 5.7 or going 5.3. Now seems as good as time as any to upgrade. The 5.3 will be another 40 or so hp with a 20hp tune on it and with a cam can get some more. $ wise on Craigslist the used 5.7's are within a $100-200 of a 5.3. So here we go.... Ejs is April 16th for me!
