WOW he's only 15 minutes from me. Too bad I can't use them. The front might be worth it for spare parts.

it most likely has flat tops. if so, them and the 8 lug hubs are worth about $300. if its a good ratio like 4.10 or 4.56 them along with the shafts, carrier, yoke are another $100+
After thinking about this for a few and reading your response, I am going to watch the front axle.
Then I could scrap out the 8 lug 10 bolt thats in rebuild stage in the garage. Use the dana 44 and install hi steer.
I don't plan on going over 37" tires anyway. For now.
Or part it out and save for a dana 60.

I paid less for my 60 then I got when I parted my 44. doesn't seem right, but a lot of people tell themselves that they can make a 44 survive.
If I was closer I'd pick both up just for the hell of it, but 4hrs. is too much for some axles I don't need right now

Explain how you know this will be a good deal when it was just listed (still has a week to go) and has not even meet the reserve yet?
