good deal on some tires??

found a set of 35 12.50x15 TRXus M/T's for $600. they are damn near brand new. I figure at over $200 a tire this is a hell of a deal.

Would you do it given you had the money? I don't exactly have the money but i think i can acquire it pretty easy

if you need the rubber then do it. on other hand, you can buy them and hold on to them until they are needed.

I don't actually need them but i think if i can buy them i'd take the ones off the K5 i have on there now. My current ones are Dick Cepeks about the same size but they have flat spots so i'm in a pickle

Well the only problem there is they have pretty good flat spots on the tires i have now and they are 17 years old...

I'd just use them on another truck or something

17years? wow, those tires are old! sounds like a perfect reason to get the other tires. my old tires had sidewall cracking that was giving me concern on on the highway and making me go easy on them offroad, so even though they still functioned, upgrading was the right thing to do, IMO. go for it.

only thing to watch out for on those is a couple of the early runs had some balancing problems. Never heard what the problem was, I have put those on two customers rigs and they didn't take much to balance. Mabey just ask him if they balanced ok. I would do it they are good tires

yup 17 yrs old. The local tire shop guy ran the numbers and they were made in 1990

sucks cause they still had the nipples on em when i bought em. Someone was building a truck and forgot the rest of the truck i guess haha
