good HEI Dizzy?

Ive got the standard MSD and have never had any problems with it. Found it at a local parts store and gave the guy at the counter $10 for using his employee discount. Saved me about $40 so it was a win win. Now everytime i go in he rings me up and still gives me his discount.

DUI or Davis Unified Ignition. They sell out of Jegs, or Summit. They are local to me. Good people & good product. I recommend ordering straight from them so they can set your timing curve to your specs.

Aint the stock ones good enough??? really any dizzy will do what counts are the accessories it has, i use pertronix stuff on top of a mallory dizzy

A stock gm one would be fine if i had one...my plan is to swap out the tbi setup for carb setup

I use stock ones with the recurve weight/springs, adjustable vac advance canister, and a good coil.

At that point you are almost to the same cost as a summit one, so its 6 of one, half dozen of another.

I dont see the point of a billet housing unless its a show car or something, MSD stuff is top notch too though, cant go wrong with that brand ever.

I tend to agree but I'm partial. :waytogo:

To be honest I ran a stock distributor in my motor until I put the crate motor in and had no problems. If you simply don't have one then it wouldn't hurt to invest in a quality piece.
