I installed the wrong knock senor and didn't have the inital timing set right so it was throwing a few codes for me last night... today i have gotten it running code free... Feels Awsome.. theres a few flat spots at WOT in 1st gear but i need to play with fuel psi and maybe the computer will learn also over the next few days...

To sum up EFI in one word: WOW.

Throttle response: quite a difference
More Torque: Yes!
More HP: Yes!
Gas milage: Better i think.
My plan was to get this done for close to a grand... I think i have $1200-1400 into this.

Alright... After the first day of driving it with the injection i think i have all the bugs worked out. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
The "flat spots or cutting out at WOT in first gear" started getting worse around corners and i realized its probably my fuel pickup.. I filled up the gas tank and i think that problem is gone and now it runs like a raped ape. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif I think i'm just going to have fuel pickup issues at about 1/4 tank in my 37 gallon fuel tank.


hahaha... dude my buddy has a TPI nitrous kit adjustable from 50-150 shot, he's trying to get me to install it before we go to pismo in 2 weekends. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
