With an open diff, and a 2wd jeep cherokee, my friend almost got stuck in some wet grass with 32x11.50 BFG AT bwahaha /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Have your bro rotate the tires, and the noise will almost go away. I use to drive with no doors, and no top on my old Jimmy, and could hardly hear the MTRs. The trick is to rotate them every 5,000 miles, and keep them balanced. I use the MTRs for long trips because the 38.5" SXs font balance. And yes the MTRs are way better in mud then the BFG MTs. I would never even think about taking a BFG At in the mud, because you can get stuck in your front yard with them /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

He rotates them frequently. Maybe he got a bad batch or something because his are crazy noisy and he has already had 1 replaced because the belt seperated in it after 8,000 miles. I respect your opinion on the mud statement, but what I have seen and actually experienced is that MT/R's can't hold a candle to BFG MT's. Maybe I just drive better then my brother! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

If he rotated them left to right that is the problem. Front to back only or they get very loud. Not just the MTRs, any radial mt.
