since the tow rig section is a little slow...

finally upgraded to something easier to use. i previously had a 18' flat deck, with no dovetail. it had heavy as hell ramps, that i had to slide out and the slide back on and tie down when i needed them. no more of that nonsense.

25' gooseneck, flip up dovetail, flip up ramps, that can stand up or lay down. 14k gvw.

Thats a BIG trailer ya got there :D Good for you.

we're gonna try and get 2 fullsizes on it. one half up on the neck of the trailer with a little deck built. i would have liked to get a 28 footer, but didn't have the extra cash to get it.

You could throw a camper on the front! But two full sizes would work to

Just for reference, here is my trailer with two stock M1009's on it. The deck length is 26 feet:

that gives me hope. i'd be putting a long bed and a shorted on though. the neck on my trailer isn't as high as that, so i think it might work. mine having a dovetail, might help some more cause of the angle the rear truck will be sitting at.

BIG :D

Did you ever get the rear axle put in the Blazer? I'm curios how it drove after.

Nice! How much more was the 28' costing? I am looking at Goosenecks and was wondering what the range is for what you have.

usskoval- i swapped the rear axle the next weekend. i drove it around the yard a bit. i traded it to my buddy for some engine work for my other truck.

k5nate - the 28' was $4500. i got this one for $3300 . usual prices for a nice used 14 gvw gn is about $3500 around here. but they aren't corn-pro's, which IMHO is about the best you can get, and the only one with a complete flip up tail.

i got it weighed tonight, it's close to 5k !!!
