Got any cool tools lately?

Got this blind hole bearing and bushing puller set from Amazon for $60.

I have had mine for 18 years.

I will give you a tip to make setting it up easier. Weld a piece of tubing, big enough for the jack handle to go into, under the bottom cross brace under the jack. This allows you to lift it a little to get the leg pins lined up easier.

I think I follow you but snap a picture of you get a chance.

Got some drift punch to remove bearing races. Work sweet better than the long round taper punch, these are oval shaped and sit nicely on the casting, gets a good bite on the race.

these are the small and medium there is a large I didn't order

Not sure. Probably wouldn't be to difficult to reshape chisel.
I thought about reshaping a chisel, but I wanted longer than any cheap chisel in my tool box.

Way back I ground a non tapered round punch on one side to drive race cups out of 1 and 3/4 ton hubs.IIt worked ok still slipped more than I liked, it was standard punch length. I still have it, forgot about it till just now.
The longer of the 2 was ok to drive the yoke side cup from the d44 diff housing, easy enough to strike with hammer. For a bigger diff the largest size is probably the go to.

My father took a cart like that decades ago and cut a "D" notch in the top two shelves for the bottle. It just has to be deep enough the cart won't tip over.

@folkenheath thanks for the idea, that worked like a charm! I still need to put a pull handle on the front and maybe some hooks to hang the leads on but it works great as is. It’s very stable and rolls much better than my old Lincoln cart, plus everything is up higher instead of being so low on the other one.

Nice work! Looks like it will work well!
