Got any cool tools lately?

I have the HF 20 ton. It has always done fine by me. The jack eventually leaked out and I bought an air over hydraulic replacement. Found out real fast that it takes a lot of airflow to run it. Best mods i've done to mine are putting big azz casters under it to wheel it around and out of the damn way when i'm not using it, and then bolted some magnetic strips to the top rail to hold the jack handle pieces.

Bought a Harbor fright 20 ton press. In years past, Ive always been able to take stuff to work and use the machine shop press. Not since I retired though. I can see a use for this thing coming up with the Vette rebuild and eventually the dually.
Typical Chinesium quality. 185# At least all the bolt holes line up. Actually it went together real well. Haven’t used it yet other than making sure the jack worked.
On sale for $209, $60 off. Came with the 1” thick press plates too.

you buy it in Texas? did you pick it up in Richardson since it was out of stock in Plano?

Swag!. That's the company that I was trying to think of.

Yes replace the cast plates with some swag steel plates before you get hurt. I bought swag plates for my old 50 ton press I bought used over 10 years ago, those swag plates are beef!

Oh the casters, best thing I do to any tool I can, i don't have a big shop so I have to tuck away what I can to have space to work

This isn't a new tool post,
Or even really a cool tool post.

But, It feels good to have amassed the tools required to do chit right when you need to.
My little mobile work station here has been getting used daily for half the winter now lol.
Love it.IMG_20260210_154134872.jpg

I ordered some stuff from Harry J Epstein. the USPS tracking is absolutely insane. I don't know how accurate it is but my package has been all over.
