I've finally retreived my '89 from way back east and deposited her in sunny CO. Runs strong (after replacing the plug wires, 2 were severed in half, so I don't know how long the poor slobs were tooling around like that), gave her a tune up, brake job, etc. Now I just need to trhow some new tires on it.

The sad thing is the hidden cancer that's present everywhere. The entire floor needs to be replaced unless I want to be Fred Flintstone (front and rear). The tailgate is barely hanging on...The interior was filthy when I picked it up, but cleaned up rather nicely. I'm pretty happy overall, considering I paid $800 and managed to drive from Pennsylvania to Colorado with no problems other than the aforementioned plug wires. I'll start choppin' her up soon, once I get some extra cash flowing again.

dude... you do realize that the west coast is closer to CO... and we dont salt our roads right?...... /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif congrats on the new toy.

Yeah, I was dumb. And being from the east coast, and swearing I'd never buy an east coast rig, I'm ever dumber. Oh well, at least she runs decently. I have yet to sit down and really figure out what I completely plan to do to it. Going to be a DD for a while, so nothing too hard core.
