Got my Polymeric Mastic today

I know it gets gooey when heated up too hot with a heat gun, but I didnt have any of the mastic get gooey on the trans tunnel though. My trans tunnel will get hot enough that is hard to hold your hand on it.

But on a roof, not only does the horizontal position have gravity helping to hold the mastic in place, but it also has lots of shingles on top of it, also helping to hold it in place. On a vertical surface it seems that the mastic would be much more likely to loosen and peel off the sheet metal. That's the application where I wonder if Dynamat truly uses a different adhesive or if they just repackage standard roofing materials. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

It has a lot of bang for the buck, a lot more than new speakers would.

Replacing the speakers is absolutely the best thing you can do for your sound quality... that is what you will notice the most... I am assuming you are running the stock speakers because of the comment you made, but trust me, if you switch them out you will notice a HUGE diffrence, especially with the sound-deadening.

Im not running stock speakers anymore. I have 6" Kenwoods that the previous owner put in the doors and I have 3.5" memphis speakers in the dash. The Kenwoods dont have enough high's to keep up with the midbass and bass. I just dont have the money to buy some really nice mid's and high's.
