Yeah, it'll strictly be a toy so it wont be going to work a lot. I don't mind the odd characteristics but I didn't want to be going down the road looking like those guys from "A Night At The Roxbury". /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

The quirks, IMO, are worth it, even more so if it's a toy. You know my plan for rocks includes spools /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
When the back is locked in on dirt you can't steer anyway. Even with open diffs in 4wd and a little gas its straight ahead in the mud, regardless of which way you turn the wheel (for the most part).
