ya loose the tail gate, i remember the first time i took my shell off i put the t-gate down, it looked cool, but first bump i hit the t gate started bouncing and just about scared the piss out of me.

here ya go. this is an old photo but took mine off the other week. still debating on going doorless, but don't want the hassle of cutting my wires for the pwr windows and door locks.
I took my top off 3 weeks ago now. Gotta keep the doors on to be legal here though.

Sorry Rene, but did you get the full hardtop to work on your k5? Or does it not seal?
I took my top, doors and gate off...............2 years ago.

The thought crossed my my mind today also but it's a little early to be trustin the weather yet around here.

This is last year before resto, hope it's not too large. See some of the resto pics in the body shop section. The are large. Thinking hard about the quick release doors now.

Came with the truck so i don't know what it does besides kill the ignition when its on. works great. I don't know why they didn't come with our rigs. I can break into my truck with a pair of scissors or plyers.
