I got them both for $80 so I think I did pretty good. They have the brackets so the sliders work and everything. The driver's one is power but I won't hook it up or anything.
I'm thinking I'll take them to work and build a frame that will bolt through the stock four holes and then bolt these to that frame so that I can still use the sliders if I want.

Anyone else use seats like this in a pickup? If so what did you do? Oh btw they are out of a colorado.

...and so it begins(again and again):D

Wait if the driver's seat is power, then without it hooked up how do you adjust the seat?

It must have been for the lumbar and stuff b/c it has a handle that does the forward and backward as well as a handle for leaning the back part forward and back.

wow! I didn't know they let you out of the lounge.
Thanks...yep they are so much more comfortable compared to my 20+ year old bench seat :)

niiice!

What are you gonna do when you get a lady in your truck, cant snuggle with her, bucket seats make for to long of a reach...ohh well, park benches work...

nice score. I would run power to the power if the seats have it, its only 2 wires, run it to your cig lighter if you can't find another source. Just run it under the carper, and you're set. Will be worth the extra 10 min....

yeah I'll look into how the power hooks up...there are a few harnesses so I think one is for the air bags, one is for the movement and the third is possibly for heat (who knows...might have been heated seats) :)

As far as the ladies go I'll work it out ;) Even so though I've had people in my truck when we are all going somewhere and being in the middle sucks plain and simple. Between the hump and transfer case shifter I don't know why GM ever even thought that someone would want to sit there...stupid imo.

buefchris the guy said they were out of an '05 Chevy Colorado.
I think they are a nice choice because the S10, ranger and other mini truck seats are the perfect size.

looks like the seats from my mom's old minivan...

take a picture of the buttons and I'll tell you what they do. $80 isn't bad but be careful what you hook power up to, blowing those airbags could be bad.

take some pics of the bottom where the seats mount. I made individual brackets for each seat when I went to buckets. I'll get a pic when I have a chance.

how'd you make individual brackets for each seat? There are only four holes in the floor for the bench seat right now...
What do those holes tie into beneath the hump? Or do they just drilled and tapped through the metal floor?

Oh and yeah I'll take pics of the bottom for you. I wasn't really even planning on hooking them up b/c I didn't want to blow the side of the seat out if I accidentially blew the air bag...

Dustin, I have two 12's behind my bench seat right now but it doesn't sound all that great (considering its 2 12's in a standard cab) so I'm going to build a center console that'll hold a single 12 that fires towards the front of the truck.

Hey Avery,

I hope you know I was just messin' with ya! Couldn't resist! Those seats look awesome dude. They will be far better than the bench seat, that's for sure! I hope that they will indeed fit and that you will see if you can wire up the controls to the driver's seat. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Good score!

the 4 holes you have now have a large square nut tack welded to the underside of your floor.

to mount mine I drilled new holes in the floor. use big washers on the underside and it will be fine. I have pics at home. give me a couple of hours.

I had 4 10's behind the seat of my single cab f250, so I know the knees in the dashboard thing hahaha.

yeah it isn't great but what can I say...I'm 17 so I'll live with some discomfort to have bass :)
