37" Super Scoopers... Custom one off prototype 16x16" "pacific fab" rims.. (we turned 4 rims into 2!) :wink1:

I think my new 6.0L should turn these tires nicely. :pimp1:

So let me get this straight. I never wanted to go to pismo but you talked me into it because you wanted me to run some paddles... Now I have paid a bajillion dollars to camp out there for a few days and now I have to pay rent? :D

 I dont think i was the only one talking you into the pismo trip.. besides you know you want to show off yer pismo queen mall crawler show truck..
At least with these tires, you might not get stuck without a front driveshaft. :p: :rotfl:

If I guy I knows old 454 can turn em I'm sure your new 6.0 should have not problem

Wait Jason Mr TTC is going to pismo. Maybe I will have to bum a ride form someone and go down just watch the fun.

Actually those are some big-ass scoops.....!! I wouldn't be surprised if you needed a couple more hundred ponies to throw those around effectively. Don't get me wrong, not knocking the 6.0...... but these look like 600+ Hp paddles to me.... (got wrap bar...?)
Anyway.... they look cool... if you're overtired, turn them around and run 'em backwards....!! :waytogo:

Oh man!
cain't wait for the drag racing up a sandy hill:D

Marv may be on to something about the axel wrap...hmmmm but then again sand is way more foirgiving so I guess we will have to see....
RB you need a video camera under there..Oh I know we can hang Dillon out the door while I am next to you hahahahah
Let the Games Begin  :D

Yeah you better have a anti-wrap bar. just with my 35's and 2wd My k5 hops like a SOB

I am going to have to head up to Pismo for the day just to see those tires in action. Keep an eye out for the camo blazer.:D

Ryan...After watching that video, you need to ditch those MTR's. What a piece of crap tire...Mud terrain? hahaha!:haha: :haha:

Yup. Very similar tires are for 1500+ HP mud and sand drag trucks. :eek1:
After talking to several people about the application and what i'm using them for, i went with 14 paddles instead of like 22, so they will spin easier.
Last year at pismo i watched a couple of way underpowered 350ci trucks running the same tire and they still did well.
Its like drag racing, I'd rather be tubbed and have all that traction putting all your power to the ground.. just waiting for more power to be thrown at it... then not have enough traction. And there are future mod's & dyno tuning planned for the 6.0L eventually. :thumb: Long tube headers and a Anti-Wrap Bar are on the list before I test out these tires in May. :wink1:
Sand drag racing isn't even what i'm after.. Its more just a set of sand shoes to have a Bunch of fun everytime i go to the dunes.. If i take care of these tires i should have them for years to come since they should hardly wear. :thumb:

Well it will certainly be fun to watch and see how much sand you can actually throw out behind you:D
One thing for sure you will have way better tracktion than me...now the power hmmmm I guess we will find out;)

Ya know when I was watching my rig on the dyno my rear did flex up a bit when he first started spining the big drums it was sitting on...got me thinkin maybe I need somekind of anti wrap bar back there??
I would think a tracktion bar of some kind may interfear with normal wheelin articulation in the mountains...hmmm I guess it something to reasearch:rolleyes:
Keep us posted on what you plan to do back there:D
Later

That's awesome! I am thinking of doing the same thing. I have a set of 36x17r16 drag tires that I want to mount and run in the sand. Some day I'll have scoops vulcanized on. My question is about the wheels, how did you do that? I have 4 16x8.75 wheels and was going to weld them together. Can you describe to me how you did it? Thanks.
