Ok I know I already talked about this one, but I want to start my own thread about it.

Anyone have them, or have a friend who has them?

How do they do on ther road?
Post up any opinions on them.

Probablly too new to answwer this but: how are they on heavy trucks, like 3/4 and 1 ton diesels. I like them thinking about them for my Dodge....

arturo has them on his blazer, 38 x 15.5 x 16. they are the smoothiest running big tire on a lifted rig that i'v been in.

I have them on my blazer and i love them !
they are pretty smooth and quiet on the highway even at speeds of 75mph.
they feel good driving in the rain. and even though i havent wheeled much,
they get great traction in muddy wet grass.

thumbs up so far in my book.

Well, thats good! :D

I just found out that I will be getting a set of the MTZs for Xmas. :xmas:
35x12.5 r15

I have also been looking at those from my DD. I would like to know how the compare noise wise to the Xterrain. My Xterrains 305/70/16 are louder than my 38" TSL SX.

on a 72 blazer with 13" of lift and 38" mtz there is very little tire noise.. if any

my 31" sts's and 35" coopers were louder

*Just picked up the new MTZs today!*

So pictures first, explaination second:

Here are the studio pictures of the tires and rims

Explaination:

The Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ looks pretty sweet! I love them. Even though I have only a few miles on them, I can tell you I love them. They hardly have any road noise. I can barely hear it over the exhaust, I don't mind though. They are smooth and have no crazy vibes or anything. Also they don't really feel much heavier than the BFG A/Ts I had on there for a while. I haven't had time to take them off road yet, but I will soon enough.

Based on my first impressions, I highly recomend this tire to anyone looking for a mud terrain type tire.

Also what do you guys think of the wheels?
(You might realize why I want to keep them and not go 8-lug)

The Front:

The Rear:

I think I have plenty of clearance in the rear, but I might rub in the front at full flex.
