Gotta new build coming up!

For insulation could you hang a second layer of metal off of the cut out area with an air gap between it and the tank? Sort of like the heat shields bolted to the underside of the floor?

What will the cells be made of, steel or aluminum? Any ideas on the dimensions of a tank in the 25 gal range. Fwiw, I have a 1" body lift if the room on top helps.

If you can, shoot me a ballpark price so I can start planning. $ :D $

Just going by some online dimensions, to get 25 gallon cell in there and allow for exhaust is gona have to hang down quite a long ways.

I'll try to get some sample pricing together.

Ok, drop back to something like 16~18 gal's. After thinking about it the 16 gal in my old swb pickup never left me short of fuel. I'm sure you get what I'm talking about but here's a 1st grade drawing I did to show the exhaust cutout idea.

(cutout would be on the driver side)

You might be better off to attach the heat shield to the exhaust so heat doesn't conduct up to the tank through the shield supports.

Oooo nice point! I had not thought about that. Scrap the shield Kert! :D

I figured that's where you were going. I'll get under a blazer and get some dimensions pretty quick here.
