Does anyone have any info on how to get one back together?
A buddy of mine just called and asked if I knew how to get one back together (he had to take it all appart to get the left axel out /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif)
any help would be appreciated /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

throw the cuckoclock garbage out and replace it with an "s"
spring you will not believe how much difference it makes!

i didnt have to take my govlock apart...... all i had to do was open the diff, and all the pieces fell right out.

Is the "s" spring a direct swap and if so where do I get one? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
This is for a friends 85 1/2 ton , he was replacing axle seals and the spider gears fell out /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
Or can we just remove a bunch of the guts and turn it into an open diff.?

Maybe this will help . But honestly , and bear in mind I LOVE my 1/2 ton axles , I would not put that ticking timebomb back in there . Mine broke on my original 10 bolt , it could of lost the c-clips but I got lucky and stuff was jammed in there holding my axles in , I went to a yard and pulled an open 12 bolt , bought a lunchbox locker , and all is right in the world of my DD/camping rig /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
