At least 29 of its parks have allowed illegal off-road vehicles.

Don't you love this statement!!!!! If the off road vehicles are allowed they are not illegal! Talk about a one sided article

Yes, Americans should be able to use national parks for recreational pastimes.

I love it when these polls get "own3d"...

So everyone thinks that we as four-wheelers have the right to destroy the land that we play on? If so I guess I wanted to be a part of this forum for the wrong reasons.....

I'm gonna say this in the nicest way possible, you're way off. We think that we have the right to use the land. As previously stated, if vehicles are allowed, they aren't illegal now are they? That pole is talking about all national parks, we're not going to purposefully shut ourselves out of an area are we? If you think that all we're out to do is destroy the land, you're buying into a heavily biased article that was written without any of the standards of ethical journalism in mind.

Did anyone notice that it's published by "The Christian Science Monitor". I give the article as much credit as I would Ensign (mormons) etc. Anyhow, maybe we can swing their own followers' view!!
