Grey Goose

Also my motor is getting pulled this weekend my bud wanted to wait for me his dad and his dad’s brothers own a shop and they are going to sleeve it and fix up the engine for free as a get well / late birthday gift

Hard to tell on the springs, but are they in the correct direction? The center pin is offset to one side.

If it just needs to move front to rear, try disconnecting the driveshaft.

Took a better look at the pic. I see you tried to pull the axle forward. I would disconnect the shock and drive shaft and try again.

Okay I’m gonna have to wait on that till later still have a broken arm but how hard is a drive shaft to take off?

Also since I have a 700r4 are there and weird kinks or anything I should be aware of I’ve looked for a guide and haven’t found a good one yet about this

Just disconnect the axle end, just a couple of small u-bolts holing the u-joint in the yoke. Easy.

Measure the perch width on the axle, measure the springs at the frame. Most likely it won’t go because you have some tension on it. May require a strap across to the frame on the other side to help square it up

Pretty friendly bunch. Having a place for reservations or good campsite would need to be sorted soon. Place gets full fast

to drive out it will cost me almost $2000 in gas to get there not even talking about back so Between me and 2 friends its looking at $4000 in gas both ways not counting gas spent doing other things and food so its going to be a very minimal lodging setup if we come aka air mattress in the the bed and just chilling it under the night sky. I could try and tow it out on an avalanche and get some better gas but idk my avalanche is kinda trash and no clue if it will make it out there

Yeah it’s a haul. Don’t see many east coast guys

Something is screwy with your math.

Average us gas price is $2.66 today. NYC to Moab is 2100 miles. If you average 8 mpg, you'll only need 262 gallons from the big apple. That's about $700 each way.

$4000 in gas would net you around 12,000 miles. Stay in school.

I’d like to make the haul. Bus look okay I’ve missed only like 30 days or so of senior year and my friend did the math I blame him honestly

Also I did a fuel trip calculator and it should be around $400 in gas to get there it said avg mpg was 14 and I get hopefully 7 so maybe 700-800 you right bus
