Ground Hawgs

something else to ponder about hawgs....

the tread design is setup to be directional..... to a point...

when you have the tires on the correct way... they dig and dig to china.... even had a china boy stuck in between my lugs once :haha:

anyhow.... hawgs in reverse suck mud back under the tire.... cool part of that is you run a set backwards in the front so the front wants to FLOAT and a set normal in the back so it digs down......

I dont do this cuz with detroits front and rear.... I wanna dig it to it!!!!!!!

That's on the bias tire..... I've pretty well made up my mind that the next set of shoes for my 71 p/u is gonna be a set of bias hawgs in 40/17/16.5 on 16.5 x 9.75 all it gets is mud and trails

I was browsing tires online today and somebody had them for $247 a piece. I'll try to find the link

please do. Same combo I was thinking of running. Now especially because of the tread life! I could be wrong, but isn't that a lot of mileage for a bias?

My 44" hawgs are old! they are hard as hell! Still have 1/2 the tread. The sidewalls are starting to crack though!! great in the mud/sand, suck on rocks. no traction on the road at all!! I leave patch marks just trying to move the truck in my driveway!!
