We are trying to flood the market with this stuff so everyone can see how good it is. The more people who use it, the more people who will see how good it is, so we are prepared to offer this stuff up at $50 off the retail price!

Retail price on a kit is $150 for a gallon of Al's and a gun. With our current special we are selling it for $130, but with the group purchase price we are selling it for $100 for a gun and a gallon! And on top of that, we are going to offer the gallon kits and the guns at HUGE discount during the GP sale! A gallon of Al's will run $60, that's $35 off retail! An application gun will run $40, that's $15 off retail!

The sale will last until the 18th, get in today! On the 18th I will be placing the order, and will get it in my shop the following week, at which point I will be accepting payment and sending them out to you!

PASS THIS AROUND EVERY BOARD YOU WANT, I WANT THIS TO BE HUGE! We need to get at least 20 guns and 20 gallons of Al's sold to make this work. You can order as much or as little as you need, you are not held to one gun and one gallon.

Feel free to visit us at http://www.tscoating.com or call me at 919-906-4688 with any questions.

Sale ends July 18th - get your order in today!
One complete kit of Al's - $100 ($50 off retail!)
One gallon of Al's in black, light tan, or grey - $60 ($35 off retail!)

So, who's in? I'll make a list so everyone knows how close we are to making the goal. This is not just a CK5 thing, I'm posting this on all the boards we sponsor.

How's the stuff hold up?? Any pics of other jobs?? Just tryin to get more info before commiting. I need to do something to the inside of my Blazer but not really sure what to go with

thanks

This stuff is killer. It is just as tough as a Rhino or Line-X, but it is UV-stable and you won't ever have to worry about it fading or deteriorating.

Here are some pictures of it:

Another question. Does it have to be applied with the gun or could a roller like Herculiner uses work?? I mean i'd love to try the stuff out but don't have a compressor to hook up to the gun. That'd make it kinda hard to apply unless i took my Blazer out to my dad's again and that just CANNOT happen

Thanks again

To tell you the truth, I am not sure. I'll need to check into that. I know the texture comes from the gun, so it might lay out weird with a roller.

Just call Sunbelt and rent a compressor for the day! :)

WEll i'm subscribed to this thread now so whenever you hear something bout rollin it i'll let you know what i can do. I could probably get a compressor but i'm very particular with the compressors i use

Whats the required prep? is Scuffed paint good enough? if the paints NOT stuck good, go to bare metal then primer. Or is bare metal what you want?

Yep, scuffed paint is good enough. If the paint isn't stuck good, then sand to bare metal.

The stuff comes with a primer that you spray on first that will bond it to paint, metal, etc.

One question I forgot to ask, how thick can you spray it?

You can lay multiple layers, but our standard is 1/16" thick for a single layer. You can get a little thicker, but gravity takes hold if you get too thick and you'll start drooping if you are on a vertical surface. Pretty standard across liners.

And the official word from the manufacturer on rolling:

"The problem you have with a roller is the thickness. You will wind up
with a very thin application. The material is such a thick mixture that
the roller pushes more than it spreads.

We have done it but it is not really recommended. You will want to apply
multiple layers to achieve any depth. And be sure to use a epoxy roller
or very porus roller."

So yes, it can be done, although you will need multiple coats. Also, the pot life on it is 20 minutes at 70 deg so you'll have to mix small batches or spread it quickly.

well looks preaty good and i like the texture so is this pre pay or what and what about he shipping to 90620?

Nope, not pre-pay. You pay when I'm ready to ship it.

Shipping depends on how much you need. Normal shipping rate for a gallon and a gun to that zip would be $20.

how much do you need to do a truck bed/K5 bed?
I am interested and would probably get 1 kit and 1-2 extra gallons

For a truck/K5 bed it normally takes about 2-3 gallons. If you want to also do the front floorboards up to the toe pans in the front you'll need about 4 gallons total.

Wow 4 gallons total i was tinking that 2 would do my sub but we are talking maybe 5 or 6 this is getting really expensive.

Well, that is including up the walls to the windows, too.

A customer of mine just did a 51 Chevy truck and one gallon got him from the toe pans in the front all the way up to the back window. I'd imagine if you just wanted to do the floor pans you could get away with two gallons.

The stuff doesn't come pre-mixed, either. I think for a K5 entire interior front to rear and sides it would take 3.5 gallons. You'd have 1/2 gallon left for later as long as you don't mix it. For a sub, I bet you could squeeze out 4 gallons to make it work.

wow, a special :eek1:...so 4 gals and a gun would be $280 + shipping...how much to ship to 70805??? and $20 extra for brown, for a total of $300 +shipping???

So round $350 i could get everything i need. Nice to know. I really wanna do this but will see howmy budget is ;)
