GRRR Ignition Issues

Ok, so I get up to go to work this morning and the truck will not start!

Turns over fine...

Getting fuel...

Check spark.....

Fail. No spark.

Check volts to the BAT terminal on the distributor......

12V

Ok, try another HEI cap and coil....Still nothing.

Follow Chiltons monkey steps to check the coil, get .6 ohms for primary coil resistance. Checks good. (supposed to be at less than 1 ohm)

Check secondary resistance.....both of these are supposed to be between 6000 and 30,000 ohms.

1st check- BAT terminal to button that connects to rotor----OPEN
2nd check- GND terminal to button----9420 ohms

Both caps and coils I tried were very similar with both having that open from the BAT terminal to the button.

Is the concensus that I have 2 bad coils?

Yep ign module in the dizzy.

Why the ignition module?

Why because thats the last piece of the puzzle sans ECU.
