guage pannel from a medium 60 truck

Depends on year I think but more than likely you will loose your seat belt light and brake light. I don't remember which ones.

I am putting one in my crew cab, the printed circuit is the same except for those couple omissions, the back plug, plugs right in

The short answr is yes, but you'll probably have to repin some wires if your gauges don't match what the new cluster has.

sweet. That would give me a factory tach plus a vacuum guage.

I have the factory electical digrams for my 78 K5. It shows the pin connectors and what they go to for the cluster. I'm not sure how that would translate to the medium trucks. It is best that I find a wiring diagram for the medium trucks. I don't want to fry anything.

On the stock 78 k5... the seat belt light is on the fuel guage. Brake light is on the speedo. I think I would just loose the seat belt light which I could live with. I still would have the 4x4 indicator light.

The plastic cluster is different then stock however. It has the hole so the vacuum guage hookup can go. I think this will be a really sweet mod when I get it in.

I still need to find a place for a tranny temp guage.

I used to have a bunch of tach clusters and regular clusters out of medium duty trucks. They are basic layout as our trucks. If it's the same year as your truck the wiring should be the same. I can't remember the year differences now, but need to make sure you don't put one with an amp gauge into a truck that has the volts gauge, then you will need a smoke gauge cause it will go poof!!!!!

I have two tach clusters for my crew. One from a 74 with the fuel gauge in with the tach, and then one from an 80s diesel with 4K RPM with the fuel gauge within, and either a vacuum gauge or dual air gauge. Just depends what motor I go with.

If you can get the bezel, some of them have the lights on top, all kinds of different lights that were used.
