H1 bead locks on a K5 who’s running them and how

Do you already have the axles you want to run? Dually axles make them a direct fit.

There used to be a member that had an srw CUCV with stock H1’s and I think 2” spacers. The front locking hubs still stuck out some but it was close enough to work.

You might consider swapping the front to drw hubs (but don’t get rid of your srw hubs) and then 3” spacers on the rear. Quality big spacers will be $$$.

I run 8-bolt H1's with inner and outer rock rings. Mine are stock centers. 2" spacer in the front on a SRW D60. 3" spacer on the rear on a 3/4 ton SRW 14BFF. Corners of the tires are flush with the fenders front and rear. The +1" on the rear makes the track width virtually identical to the front. Only ok with the spacers because its a trail only vehicle, wouldn't want to run that on a road.

I did re-center 1 rim initially. Used a TWF pressed center, no spacer required for SRW. Didn't like the visual look, so only did the one and abandoned that path.

well yes and no .

dana 60 DRW front yes .

rear needs the dana 70HD DRW axle . if you try and use the C&C narrow 14ff DRW axle that is with most DRW 60 front deals that wont work .

the H1 is 7" backspace . and our SRW stuff tends to need 4" - 4.5" backspace .

the H2 newer 17" are 5" backspace . they fit real snug on our 3/4 and 1ton axles and work .

so if you did a 3" spacer it would be a real safe bet no rubbing on axle parts .

Like others have said. I ran 2in spacers on my srw k30 with H1 Rima.

My current truck was a dually I singled out and they fit great on the stock dually axles 60/70.

I definitely feel better running them on dually axles over bolt on spacers.

That's a sweet rig. Lift? Drivetrain?
4" spring and zero rate with front axle pushed forward 1.5" slightly longer shackle front fender fang sectioned about 4". Rear is shackle flip, new stock height springs with an added leaf. ORD shackles with kevlar bushings. Drivetrain I swapped in a 465 4speed and converted the 241 to 32 spline input and a SYE. 1350 new superduty driveshaft for the rear with a neapco CV. You can see the axle pushed forward and the fender is quite a bit shorter on the front which allowed me to tuck the bumper which isnt finished yet.

old thread... I am picking up 4x h1 12bolt wheels/tires today and gonna have to find 2" spacers. I dont want to do the recenter, dont plan on airing down to single digits and just want a beadlock to have and look cool.. lol... well if i was to get a flat, can drive on it for a while, thus keeping the stock 12 bolt ring in there.

anyone got a set of 2" spacers for a 14bff and d60 front they wanna part with????
