I went ahead and cut the H2 caps for the front wheels. Went very easy with an airsaw. I just ground down the molding sprue so that it was flat and scribed a circle with an arc scribe using the sprue as my center point. The correct diameter for my hubs happened to be exactly the same size as the center part of the H2 cap, so that worked out well.
I like the way it looks better with the caps on the front, even though the word "Hummer" is cut in half.
If it helps, the Scout is still engine-less and I never did finish the suspension on the 72. And that's been my quote since IFSJA. (I did steal it, just not from you). You sumbitch.
