H4 headlight conversion done!!

I believe they are about the same, but a much better quality and color of light is produced than incandesent, most bulbs are halogen now days anyways, but what they are talking about here is doing a sealed beam to composite conversion, so all you have to replace is the bulb out the back, like the newer cars and trucks.

So for those of who happen to like the early 70's single round headlights /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif ... any options?

Even with halogens I can't see all that far... yeah, my set o' Hella driving lights is nice... but I wouldn't mind having something in the grille, more stealthy-like.

Any bright (as it were) ideas?

Yes, there is a headlight conversion available for them as well. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

And the conversion is a new headlight unit, which accepts the removable H4 bulbs in back... instead of the sealed beam type?

Yes, i have seen some also which have the diamond cut type of reflector mirror so it gives it a newer look also, kinda neat. Check out Ebay, they are always for sale there.
