Handicap Access to lifted k5 - Ideas?

was talking to a buddy today about these…actually have one out at the cabin. was wondering if I could bolt 2 of them together with a piece of 3/4 plywood over the top… make a platform and somehow chain or connect one side to the blazer so it can’t slip out from under dad…

I use the smaller version to get in and out of the back of my camper when I’m out. I’ve never really had an issue on dirt or uneven terrain with mine. Granted it’s more square and not as tall, but it’s also what I used to help my ex who was overweight and had mobility issues from MS get in and out of mine. I added grab handles on the a pillar and over the door on the passenger side to give solid points to grab onto to get in with as well. Which wouldn’t be a bad idea in your case since these trucks have zero points to grab onto to help get in with.

yeah i have the bolts overhead for the factory grab handle on the pass side, but there is no handle. need to see if i can source one of those as well

What about a ramp for the back of blazer? Remove tailgate/swap to truck tailgate, and roll wheelchair up back, then find way to strap/secure wheelchair into blazer? Obviously top would have to be off. This particular ramp folds.
