Happy overdrive

I'm looking into snagging a pair of CUCV 60/14's with the 4.56's for my '91 Burb.

The truck has the 700R4

Will the tranny shift into overdrive with 35" tires and 4.56's or do I need 4.88's?

No problem. I use o/d with 4.10s and 35s. In fact 4.10s and 35s equates to almost stock gearing again as my speedo is almost spot on.

ditto... when I ran 35" BFG's with my 4.10's my 700r was really happy...pulled hard in 2nd and 3rd then sat in OD...most hills it wouldn't even blink but on steep ones it'd kick it down into 3rd then right back into OD once it leveled out...

GREAT. As long as its working with 35's and 4.56's for a while, while I focus on other mods before I end up with 39.5's and 5.13's.
