Harness, 4 Point or 5 Point?

Going to be running the PRP daily Driver seats in the 74 Blazer, and needing to order harness, I know I am going with 3" belts, but do I go with 4 point or just stay with the 5 point, and what latch system? Cam Lock, Latch and Link, Automotive style latch ?

I just went with these. I hate the latch and link system unless it is just for an offroad only rig. Too much hassle for road driving imo. Especially since my gf doesnt like them either.

Yes I was looking at these but with Harness Pads & Plastic Sternum Buckle, but its only a 2" straps, like to call and see if I can special order 3" wide straps

The beards I ordered have pads and sternum straps. Yah only 2", but IMO, is it really that big a deal to have 3" over 2"

I mean stock seatbelts in a car are not 3", and these have way more protection than those....

afaik all the Crowes are available in 3"....

I took the fifth out. Just sat on the floor making noise. 3" are more comfortable when strapped down tight. At least with my fat gut. Shoulder pads are almost a must.

the crotch straps keep you from submarining in a head on, they also help hold the waist belts down on your hips instead of up on your stomach.

I'm very happy with these. If you go submerining in these... You got other problems...

The pads on these are super comfy. I haven't tried them in action yet, but I have tried on enough harness to know I will like these.

My bf has 3in crow 4 points in his truck with the link and latch style. They can be a pain until you get used to them but they work good. Sometimes the 5th strap would be nice to hold the waist belt down so you can really tighten the shoulders up but Im a girl and dont have anything between my legs to get smashed so .

I kinda like the simple latch because there is nothing to go wrong or get jammed up incase you have to get out fast because of a fire or something(have had experience with this in his truck before)

My review on the beard ones with road time and dune trips is that I really like them. I do wish there was a way to do the crotch belt just for the fact that im really skinny and the sides of my seat are quite tall, so its hard to really suck my waist down.

I have the 3 inch 5 points in mine with the cam buckle latch. Depending on what I am doing I will wear them 2 point, 4 point, or 5. I like the 3 inch over 2. I also like the simplicity of the cam buckle style and have heard some complaints about other latches.
