Title says it all. I know there are very few of us who play around with electrical stuff and able to keep the "magic smoke" in.
The problem we have now our trucks and "station wagons" are over 20 years old. Over forty for the oldest model. Most of the stuff is discontinue including tail light sockets. PED (Delphi) is usually good about keeping stuff around. Much better than Ford or dodge. I think the biggest reason is because Delphi sells outside of GM. Of the big Three, finding Delphi stuff easy. I have over 7 storage bins of Delphi 56 series, Weather pack, and Metri-pack terminals and connectors. Only one bin combined of ford and dodge terminals and it wasn't for a lack of searching.
Well, for light sockets, I just about done wiring the front lights on my blazer and the socket of the front turn/marker lights is the same as the rear. I had to use a cheap Taiwan knock off that I had to seal with a combination of Weather-Pack, Metri-pack and Silicone because those people across the ocean don't understand the concept the rubber seal is suppose the seal tightly around the wire. Not leave enough room for a 8 gauge wire to pass though when using 18 gauge wire.
I finish this later. I got to finish wiring my blazer, but I'm going to leave a link to Dephi's lamp socket Pdf.

Anyway, P/N 12191243 looks promising.
