Has anyone in the Bay Area seen this?

There is definately more money in the rig than what he's asking but also remember that in this economy he is going to be VERY LUCKY if he gets 7K for it. I'm going to guess if he really wants to move that rig he will get probably closer to 5K for it. It would definately be a good rig though for anyone looking for a built wheeler.

I'm actually surprised that the rig doesn't have crossover steering.

I was thinking that 5k would be a good deal too. But yeah no crossover. Didn't even think about it, funny because I was comparing it to my current rig and mine has crossover.

I was about to say that i was curious how he was running a sway bar with crossover steering but then realized he never once mentioned crossover steering. :doah: I had to ditch my sway bar when i went crossover (didn't notice a difference really anyways).

I threw my rig up on Craigslist briefly just to get an idea of its worth. My rig is very similar to that one with the same build up but I will unabashedly state that it has much much more done to it. Mine has 4x4Iron bumpers front and back, full Line-X'ed interior, crossover steering, Ford shock towers and Bilstein 5150's, Tuffy center console, new stereo, better paint, full size matching spare, and lots of other trick items. I got no responses at $9000 at all and I have over $37,000 into my rig including purchase price. I would agree that $5000 would be more reasonable. I would love to get half of my original investment back and given the bath I would take on selling my K5, I am planning on an engine swap for even more power and keeping it forever at this point. If somebody offered me $9k or so, I might be tempted but we never get back even a fraction of our investment on these rigs.

Desert Rat, I dig your rig.:waytogo: I like the dedenbears, nice (expensive) touch that is generally over looked. If he is able to get 7 or close to it, you should have been easily in the 9k range IMO. But market values with these trucks are never TRUE values as we all know. The 1st buyer always gets the better deal when buying someones "finished" project.
